Parents! Protest and protect!

ScotPAG is taking a slightly different approach for this week’s blog. Normally we write about our professional concerns regarding the harm being done to our public services by gender identity ideology and the way it has become embedded in our institutions.

This week, however, a heart felt poem landed by chance on our desk. We thought it deserved an airing. The author remains, of course, anonymous for obvious reasons.

How to F**k your children up!

Tell your children they can change their sex,

Tell them that it’s real.

Tell them they can be themselves…

It’s just a case of how you feel.

Tell your children their pals are cool,

Especially those in your kid’s school.

Those TQ dudes that shout and scream…

Proclaiming there is no in-between.

Tell your children their school is great,

For embracing pronouns and allowing hate

For those who stand against the cult…

The TQ crowd will brook no insult!

Tell your children the school is fine,

For teaching a man can be a quine.

And inferring non-factual ‘facts’ are facts,

Where no evidence is the norm, insanity is born.

Tell your children, black is white,

Truth is lies and might is right!

Affirmation is the way

And lived experience wins the day!

‘Parents fuck their children up!’ the poet cries,

There is no voice that can deny,

The harm, the message gives profound

And those who count just go to ground.
