HCPC’s vilification of registrants who raise safeguarding concerns

ScotPAG member Dr Anne Woodhouse has been hounded by the HCPC. This is the experience for many women who dare to utter their views about a junk science ideology. Three years ago, she became the subject of a vexatious complaint by John Naples Campbell, at the time, a depute headteacher in Highland Council who is an LGBTQ activist & part-time drag queen. Dr Woodhouse’s regulatory body is the HCPC.

It is yet another captured public body which has been duped by gender identity ideology. The HCPC pursued Dr Woodhouse because she articulated sex realist views & concerns about children’s safeguarding.

As Helen Joyce has said, gender identity ideology is a lie, and when a lie is allowed to infect an organisation, it breaks it at its very point of purpose. The HCPC appears to have lost its way completely. Why else would it prefer to listen to unhinged complaints against a respected female member of its organisation? And why is the HCPC failing to listen to safeguarding and sex realist concerns?

The HCPC's harassment and negative treatment of Dr Woodhouse is a scandal which ScotPAG believes needs not only to be exposed, but also requires a formal  and public enquiry Into how the HCPC functions and what its real objectives are.

Below is the revealing public statement issued by Anne Woodhouse following the verdict of the employment tribunal (12th Dec 2025). The tribunal threw out the vexatious complaint and concluded 'There is no case to answer'.
