What’s Our Direction of Travel? 8 Reasons to be Concerned

As Winter approaches, we have the opportunity to look back on what has been a pretty active year in gender-ideologically-deluded-land. ScotPAG has played a small but active part in stating clearly and simply what the problems are when a society and its culture buys into quackery junk science which has no basis in reality.
We have a Scottish Government which is thirled to progressing an unproven ideology and inflicting it on all its citizens. It pays lip-service to the law, and encourages all our public services to do likewise…all at tax payers’ expense.
Our blogs over 2025 have been reasonable, and have always focussed on evidence, professional knowledge, and robust research. Here’s some of the themes we have covered:
1. How child safeguarding in education has been compromised
There is no such thing as a trans child
2. How promoting a lie harms children’s psychological development
3. The impact of delusional thinking on effective organisational functioning
4. The authoritarian nature of gender identity ideology
5. Identity ideology breaks an organisation at the very point of its purpose
6. The harm caused by insisting that ideologically driven guidance is correct
7. We are constrained by a Scottish Government driven by ideology, which refuses to listen
8. The inevitable erosion of public trust
For reasons of space, we have kept this blog to a small selection of previous blogs. But we think they highlight the need for major concern regarding the priorities for the road ahead. We need to remember that the Scottish Government has unleashed chaos on Scottish society without our agreement.
We must continue to find ways of making our political leaders listen!
